TL;DR — Why I'm Different
- Education: San Jose State — Business Entrepreneurship & Computer Science
- Enterprise experience: Managed mission-critical data center operations at Amazon Web Services
- Licensed broker: Washington State Real Estate License #25001482
- Fellow investor: Active real estate investor in the Tri-Cities — I think like an owner because I am one

Not Your Typical Property Manager
I didn't start in property management. I started in tech, studying both business and computer science at San Jose State University. I learned to build systems, solve complex problems, and think like an entrepreneur.
At Amazon Web Services, I managed data center operations where downtime wasn't an option. That experience taught me what operational excellence really means— reliability, documentation, proactive maintenance, and always having a plan B.
But my real passion was always real estate. I became a licensed broker and started investing in rental properties myself. That's when I realized most property management companies don't think like investors—they think like administrators. I started Parency to change that.

Personal Portfolio in the Tri-Cities

Why This Background Matters for Your Property
My unconventional path creates unique advantages for property owners in the Tri-Cities.
Systems-Driven Operations
AWS taught me that reliable outcomes come from reliable systems. Every process—from tenant screening to maintenance coordination—is documented and optimized.
Investor-First Mindset
As a fellow property investor, I understand that every decision impacts your returns. I make choices that maximize long-term ROI, not just short-term convenience.
Hospitality Excellence
Happy tenants stay longer and care for properties better. My passion for hospitality means tenants receive responsive, respectful service that reduces turnover.
Entrepreneurial Problem-Solving
Business school taught me to find creative solutions. When challenges arise—and they always do—I approach them with resourcefulness and determination.
From Silicon Valley to the Tri-Cities: My Property Management Philosophy
When I was studying at San Jose State University, I had one foot in the business school and one foot in the computer science department. Some people thought it was an odd combination. I thought it was perfect—business teaches you to think strategically about value creation, while computer science teaches you to build systems that actually work.
That dual perspective shaped everything that came after. When I joined Amazon Web Services to manage data center operations, I saw firsthand what it takes to run infrastructure that millions of people depend on every day. The standards were impossibly high. Downtime wasn't just inconvenient—it affected businesses around the world. We documented everything, planned for every contingency, and built systems that worked reliably at scale.
Why I Left Tech for Real Estate
Despite success in tech, I felt pulled toward real estate. I've always loved the tangibility of property—the idea that you can create value, provide housing, and build wealth through something you can see and touch. I started investing in rental properties and quickly realized something: most property management companies weren't operating at the level I expected.
They were reactive instead of proactive. They had inconsistent processes. They didn't think like investors—they thought like administrators just trying to keep things from falling apart. I knew I could do better by applying the operational discipline I'd learned at AWS with the investor mindset I'd developed managing my own properties.
What "Investor-First" Really Means
When I say I think like an investor, I mean it literally—I invest my own money in Tri-Cities rental properties. I know what it feels like to write the check for a new HVAC system. I understand the difference between a $50 repair now and a $5,000 problem later. I calculate ROI on every decision because I make the same calculations for my own properties.
This perspective changes everything. When evaluating a maintenance request, I'm not just asking "how do we fix this?" I'm asking "what's the most cost-effective long-term solution?" When screening tenants, I'm not just checking boxes—I'm protecting your investment the way I protect my own.
My Passion for Hospitality
Great property management isn't just about protecting the asset—it's about creating positive experiences for tenants. Happy tenants stay longer, pay rent on time, and take care of the property. Unhappy tenants leave, causing turnover costs and vacancy loss.
My love for hospitality means I care about the tenant experience. We respond quickly to maintenance requests. We communicate clearly and respectfully. We treat tenants like valued customers, not problems to manage. This isn't just nice—it's good business. Lower turnover means higher ROI for property owners.
Why the Tri-Cities?
After living in the Bay Area, I chose to build my real estate business in the Tri-Cities for a reason. This region has incredible fundamentals—major employers like Hanford and PNNL, steady population growth, affordable housing relative to the West Coast, and a quality of life that attracts and retains residents.
I'm not managing properties here from somewhere else. I live here, invest here, and am building my future here in Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, and the surrounding communities. When I tell you I care about your property's success, it's because my own success is tied to the success of this market.
The Parency Difference
Parency Property Management exists because I believed there was a better way to manage rental properties. A way that combines enterprise-level operational discipline with genuine investor perspective and hospitality-focused tenant care.
Whether you own one rental property or ten, I bring the same level of commitment. Your property gets managed with the systems and standards I learned at AWS, the investor mindset I apply to my own portfolio, and the hospitality focus that keeps tenants happy and reduces costly turnover.
If you're looking for a property manager in the Tri-Cities who thinks differently, I'd love to talk. Let's discuss your investment goals and how Parency can help you achieve them.
